Why Ming Xi Doesn't Deserve Such Sympathy?
A couple of days ago, Chinese Model Ming Xi fell on the runway during the Victoria's Secret Show in her hometown. She stepped on the fabric and slipped.
It was okay to fell actually. Everyone falls, no exception for the supermodels.
And of course, at the first place, the audiences showed their encouragement by clapping, people showed their sympathy by kind words.
She might have not RUINED the show because this is just a small fall. However, this would definitely ruin her career as a supermodel------she didn't handle it PROFESSIONALLY.
She smiled like a shy girl, which is not a model's professional, confident smile.
She took so long to get up, not considering this whole show's process.
She didn't finish the CatWalk through the runway. She just walked to the end after the pose, again, like a shy girl.
Incident happens. The way we differ professionals from others is how they handle unexpected situations. The show must GO ON.
Ming's fault is not the tumble. It is her reaction that makes us doubt her professions.
I recall that Edison's speech in NYU, which revealed that the level of quality of work does not differ in different countries. Everything has to be good on an international level.
