5 Facts | How to Avoid Your Digital Plan Being Understood?

Have you ever felt disappointed when your clients are always not on the same page with you? Has your elaborate digital strategy been denied before being thoroughly understood?
The only way to avoid the misunderstanding is to inform your clients some essential knowledge about digital strategy before presenting the plan to them. This is a blog of the #5Facts series. Again, I made an infographic that points out the most important 5 facts you need to inform your clients before making a digital plan.

Among the 5 facts, I have to emphasize the first three ones.
First, information sharing can efficiently accelerate the working process. In order to meet their satisfaction, agencies should at first know what their clients need. According to Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC), an invite-only organization comprised of the world’s most promising young entrepreneurs, agencies need the clients know the importance of information sharing and need them at least to share:
  1. Their purpose and expectations.
  2. Their problems and budgets.
  3. Who Are the Decision-Makers, and What is the Approval Process?
Then, agencies are supposed to acknowledge clients of the reason why a digital strategy is critical. So the sufficient reason is that it is measurable. As a result, a digital plan is for a long-term development, helping the company tracking and managing consumer data more effectively.  The necessary reason is that digital is a trend for business, and if you are not in, you are out. According to Newtek company, “without a digital marketing strategy in place, new client acquisitions, brand visibility, and impactful revenue generating opportunities will likely be damaged.”
All in all, a valid communication between agencies and clients before making a strategy is the solution to misunderstandings.
